Proceeds Benefit Harp Scholarship Fund

The Ringgold Middle School Harps will be hosting an afternoon tea on Saturday, March 12, at 1 p.m. at the middle school in Finleyville. Tickets are $15 and include light sweet and savory, tea sandwiches, treats and of course a variety of teas. Enhancing the afternoon will be sweet and wonderful harp music performed by the students of Melanie Sandrock, RMS music teacher. All proceeds benefit the Harp Scholarship Fund.

The scholarship fund enables students to go to Oberlin College to study at the Ohio Scottish Art School in June. Along with harp, the school teaches Scottish bagpipes, drums, fiddle, and Highland Dance. In the last five years, almost 40 of Sandrock’s students have attended

Tickets may be purchased at the Ringgold Middle School main office 724-348-7154. Deadline
for purchasing tickets is March 8. Attendees should bring their own favorite teacups!
