The David Bradford House and Washington & Jefferson College present the annual Symposium on Life and Customs in Western Pennsylvania. The event will take place on Friday, March 18, 2016 at The Chapel at Old Main on the Washington & Jefferson College campus.

Ron Duquette will address attendees as Albert Gallatin. Mr. Duquette will touch on such subjects as Albert Gallatin’s role in the Whiskey Rebellion, and also his influence in the construction of the National Road.
Alex Arnold will focus on Albert Gallatin's home, Friendship Hill, a National Historic Site.
Several historic associations will have displays before and after the speakers.

• 6:30 p.m. - Doors and displays open
• 7:00 p.m. - Welcome
• 7:15 p.m. - Mr. Alex Arnold
• 8:00 p.m. - Mr. Ron Duquette
• 9:00 p.m. - Reception and displays
Preregistration is $12 per person. Cost is $15 per person at the door. Register online, by calling:
