Canonsburg Hospital, part of Allegheny Health Network, will host its annual Halloween Trail on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the hospital’s outdoor walking trail.

Children are invited to dress in their favorite costume and wander along the one-mile trail to meet our many “haunted” hosts.

Classic characters such as Dorothy and her friends from The Wizard of Oz and Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat mingle along the trail with modern crowd pleasers including SpongeBob SquarePants.

Canonsburg Hospital employees and representatives from local businesses and the United States military volunteer to man approximately 20 stations along the trail, greeting children and passing out yummy treats.

“Canonsburg Hospital has presented the Halloween Trail for more than 25 years,” said Jane Sarra, Chief Executive Officer of Canonsburg Hospital. “It’s wonderful to see the community come together at this fun event that’s entertained local children for more than a generation.”

The event is free and complimentary parking is available. Treats and bags will be provided.

In the event of inclement weather, the Halloween Trail will be held indoors.
