If you happen to notice residents of Elizabeth Township and surrounding areas wearing a small smiley face pin, it is because they were fortunate enough to cross paths with an anonymous gentleman who seemingly has no name, although some say his name is Stoner Bob and he is a mailman.

He stops people at random and says he can make their day by a simple gesture. He then asks them to hold out their hands and places a small yellow smiley face pin in their palms. One person explains, “He told me he found them online years ago for 9¢ and bought a ton of them. He explained he passes them out to random people he comes across." So far, no one has walked away without a smile and their days just get a little bit brighter.

There have been at least 19 people over the last year who has received this special pin. Many people carry it with them, on a keychain, hanging from a rear-view mirror, or in a pocket, and some keep in where they see it daily, on a window sill or a dining room table.

Recipients of this small token have said they smile each time they look at it and think it is a great thing to do to spread a little cheer in today's world.
