Cornerstone Care’s “Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” Breast Health Project will be offering free breast cancer screenings on Saturday, October 3rd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The mobile unit will be located near the St. Damien Catholic Church, located at 722 W. Main St., Monongahela.
“Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” provides women age 40 and over with free clinical breast exams conducted by a medical professional, as well as mammogram referrals. The project also assists the uninsured and underinsured in obtaining a free or low cost mammogram.
“Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” provides education and outreach to men and women about the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer. “Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” is a program made possible with funding provided by Susan G. Komen, Pittsburgh.
