SMALL DOG/PUPPY BASIC OBEDIENCE PART 1
A basic obedience class tailored to the special needs of small breed dogs. We will teach all basic obedience commands using gentle-style training and accommodations for small dogs, and help you avoid the common mistakes small dog owners make.
Requirements: For small breed puppies 12 weeks and up, and adult dogs no more than 25 lbs. at maturity. Handlers and observers must be at least 16 years of age. NO
AGGRESSIVE DOGS. Class limited to 10 small breed dogs.

Dates: Thursday, October 8 – November 12 (6 one-hour sessions)
Time: 7 – 8 p.m.
Fee: $90 Resident / $135 Non-Resident ($30 for non-handler auditors)
LARGE DOG/PUPPY BASIC OBEDIENCE PART 1
Would you like your dog to be well-behaved, not only at home, but also out in the community? If so, this is the place to start! Learn all basic commands, leash manners, housebreaking, dog care, dog body language and behavior.
Requirements: For larger breed puppies 12 weeks and up and adult dogs over 25 pounds. Handlers and observers must be at least 16 years of age. NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS. Class limited to 8 dogs.

Date: Thursday, October 8 – November 12 (6 one-hour sessions)
Time: 8:15 – 9:15 p.m.

NOTE FOR BOTH CLASSES: First Thursday class will meet for a seminar without the dogs at 7 p.m. This seminar will be approx. 2 hours long. All dog classes are held at the Peters Township Community Room located at 200 Municipal Drive McMurray, PA in the police building(rear) off of McMurray Road. Dogs must be in good health...no aggressive dogs. No children under the age of 16 years.
