On Saturday, August 15th, Claire Bryce and the Commissioners Board, along with Chris Dell of the EMS, hosted the bike safety event for children.

ETBR1
Nicholas Dell (10) and Lily Ash (6) stop to take a picture with the coordinators of the event: Claire Bryce, Kim Torbett, and Chris Dell.

Children from ages 2-12 brought their bikes and went through an obstacle course, learned proper hand signals, bike control, and safety. Children also were able to receive helmet fittings and bike inspections. Prizes were raffled off and two very lucky kids, one boy and one girl, won a new bike donated by Wal-Mart.
Both Claire Bryce and Chris Dell say they would like to make this an annual event for the children of Elizabeth Township.
