Worldwide 'Knit in Public' Day started in 2005 as a way for knitters to come together and enjoy each other's company.
To celebrate this special day, we are asking all knitters (those that crochet are most welcome too), all ages and skill levels, to meet at Chess Park in Monongahela on Saturday, June 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring a chair, your knitting, snacks, water, and anything else you need to be comfortable. Pop-up tents are also welcome. In the event of severe weather, we will meet at The Memory Tree and Yarn Branch, 1015 Chess St., Monongahela.
