Castle Blood is now located in their new home, and the Monessen VFD #1 Auxiliary will be running the concession stand.
Castle Blood |
Castle Blood is Pittsburgh's most unique haunted house. Come to Pennsylvania's premier theatrical haunted attraction and meet the "interesting" denizens of the castle in all their dark, morbid forms, without all the chainsaws and ax murderers. This is their 21st great year of bringing "Halloween the way it ought to be" to Southwestern PA.
This award-winning den of evil is filled with high-quality production values and special effects, not to mention the interactive creatures that roam its halls. This is the same Castle Blood seen nationally on TV's Midnight Monster Hop.
One of Pittsburgh's most famous haunted houses, our "Adventure Tour" changes yearly, featuring new challenges and bringing back an enthusiastic guests again and again. American Airlines Magazine in 2001 described Castle Blood as "playing Clue in the Addams Family house."
Both Castle Blood and the concession stand will be open as follows for evening tours:
October 3 - 5, 10 - 12, 17 - 19, 24 - 26, 30 - 31, and November 17 – 11 p.m. (Fri - Sat)7 – 9 p.m. (Sun)
Because the evening tours of Castle Blood can be too intense for our younger monster fans, we are again offering our special daylight tour events. The daytime matinees will be held from 2 – 5 p.m. on October 19 and 26.
Castle Blood is now located at 100 Schoonmaker Ave. Monessen, at the corner of 1st Ave. Once again, the members of the Monessen Volunteer Fire Department #1 Auxiliary will be manning the concession stand at Castle Blood. They will be serving hotdogs, walking tacos, hot chocolate, hot cider, pop, water, chips and candy and a few other special treats throughout the month.
