Sarah Ott, age 14, daughter of Mike and Maureen Ott of Eighty Four, is the National Baton Twirling Association Junior Beginner North Atlantic Pageant winner, also taking first place in her pageant and regional twirling solos.

Sarah participated in several competitions during twirling season, taking first place in junior beginner solo at the Shamrock Festival and State Competitions and winning the twirl-off at both. The Junior Beginner North Atlantic Pageant win earned Sarah the right to compete in the National Beginner Pageant, held at Notre Dame with other twirlers from around the country.
At Notre Dame, Sarah placed 6th in the Junior Beginner Pageant, taking 4th place in her pageant solo and 9th place in her pageant strut. She also placed 2nd in her open strut competition.
Sarah studies dance at Ruby Daugherty and Sherry School of Dance in Finleyville where she participates in baton, jazz, tap, ballet, and toe ballet. She is a member of the Senior Modernettes, who won the 2014 Senior National Show Corps with Props Championship at Notre Dame in July and will represent the USA at the World Championships next spring in Italy.
