The rumble of big bikes was heard throughout Washington County on August 2nd from a bike rally sponsored by the Hackett Club in Venetia. Funds raised from the rally benefited Meighan Cale, who is fighting leukemia. The run took longer than three hours, with stops along the way at service clubs open and sympathetic to the cause.

Bike Rally
Bikers begin their run through Washington County.

Members of the Hackett Club prepared lunch for the bikers and guests. There was also a Chinese auction at the club. A patrol car and officer from the Washington County Sherriff's Department was on hand to lead the motorcade through Washington County. Lots of good folks stepped up to help out in a good cause.
