Children’s Pet Contest and Parade
- Sunday, September 7 beginning at 12:45 p.m. Judging and parade lineup will form at the Baptist Church at Sixth & Vine beginning at noon. This event is proudly sponsored by Hope’s Veterinary Hospital.
- Creatively dress your animal or show off his/her talents. Pets will be judges in the following categories: Biggest; Smallest; Skinniest; Fattest; Waggiest Tail; Biggest Smile; Most Talented; Best Costume; Most Original Costume; and Ugliest Pet.
- Open to children 12 and under. Entry fee is $1 per pet/child. You must register by September 6.
Adult Pet Contest and Parade
Sunday, September 7 beginning at 12:45 p.m. Judging and parade lineup will form at the Baptist Church at Sixth & Vine beginning at noon. This event is proudly sponsored by Hope’s Veterinary Hospital.

Children’s All Wheels Contest and Parade
Saturday, September 6 beginning at 4:30 p.m. Judging and parade lineup will form at the Baptist Church at Sixth & Vine beginning at 3:45 p.m. This event is proudly sponsored by The West Newton Bicycle Shop.
- Creatively decorate anything with wheels (non-gasoline powered vehicles) to compete in one of the following judged categories: Most Patriotic; Most Original; Most Colorful; Overall Biggest; Overall Smallest; and Best Movie Theme.
- Open to children 14 and under. No entry fee required. You must register by September 5.
