 Summer Concert Series for August

Come out to the Peterswood Park outdoor amphitheatre for a free concert series from 7 - 9 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved indoors to the Community Recreation Center.

  • August 6 – B Street Band
  • August 20 – InTransit

Fishing Derby

Join us for the 14th Annual McMurray Rotary and Peters Township Fishing Derby at Peters Lake Park. All kids in grades kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to participate. Pre-registration suggested.

  • Date: Saturday, August 16
  • Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Fee: $5 resident / $10 non-resident
  • Location: Peters Lake Park

Haunted Trail XV

Fractured Fairytales of Peterswood Park

A night that will leave you wondering… who ever thought fairytales were for children at bedtime?

  • Day: Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4
  • Time: 7:30 – 10 p.m.
  • Fee: $5 per person

Haunted Trail Volunteers Needed

Volunteers needed….Would you like to help out? Need community service hours?

  • Story Tellers – Lead groups through the trail while narrating the story line.
  • Scene Actors – Act out a scene on the trail. Individuals welcome or it can be fun if you have a group of friends, family, volunteer groups or belong to an organization.
  • Concession Stand – adult volunteers to help in the concession stand with ticket and food sales.
  • Trail Monitors – adult volunteers to help monitor the trail scenes and groups being led along the trail.
