The Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation is having a "Photo Scavenger Hunt" Children's Program at Mingo Creek Park, Shelter 7, on Thursday, June 12, 2014. There are two sessions offered. Session I begins at 10 a.m. and Session II begins at 1 p.m.

This is a fun and amusing way to find some interesting things in nature. Teams will search high and low for items and will even take a few pictures of their teammates in action. With your photos as reminders, this is sure to be an evening you won't soon forget! Please bring along a digital camera or camera phone; we will need at least one per group.

Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling the Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation office at 724-228-6867. There is no fee for this program.
