Three years ago, the Plum Street Committee embarked on the task of revitalizing Plum Street in downtown Elizabeth to make it useful for nonprofit groups to hold fund raising events and for the borough to hold community events.

Sisters-in-Law, Norma Weston and Jerry Morris meet up each Thursday to watch the summer concerts.
The committee is made up of 4 people, Lori Kolodziej (chairperson), Larry Duvall (council liaison), Margaret Fleischauer (grant writer), and Lynn McHolme (treasurer).

Plum Street has power sources for outdoor electrical equipment and here are also tables and chairs for use by groups that want to host events. It has already been used for summer concerts, a pancake breakfast, and a chili cook-off. Anyone interested in using Plum Street for a group event can contact Lori at 412-384-0504.
