The Mon Valley NAACP Branch 2274 is holding its Annual Human Rights Banquet on September 21, 2013 at the Donora Borough Social Hall. The Theme this year is "Building Leadership; leadership is not a title; it's an ACTION!"
Guest speaker is U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton, a native of Donora, and the emcee will be Tim Stevens, past president of the Pittsburgh NAACP and founder of B-PEP. Doors will open at 4:00 p.m. with dinner at 5:00 p.m. Performances by Live jazz duo, It takes Two and the August Wilson Dance Ensemble will entertain the guests. Post banquet celebration from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 .idnight with the House of Soul band. Cash bar and appetizers will be available.
