The Bentleyville Recreation Board and Bentleyville Borough celebrated its annual 'Stars and Stripes in the Park' at Richardson Park on Saturday July 6, 2013.
 Christine Herko and daughters, Shirena, Alexandria, and Makayla, had a great time getting their faces painted.

Many fun family oriented activities, food and craft vendors, concessions, a Little Miss Firecracker Pageant, music, pony rides, and a petting zoo made for a very enjoyable afternoon. The day ended with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk filling the skies over Bentleyville.
