Borrowing the phrase from the Indianapolis 500 auto race, “Gentlemen (and ladies): Start your engines!” The 2nd annual “Ride for the Wreaths” kicked off for a 50-mile jaunt through Washington County.

The ride began at the Steel City Motorcycles dealership on Washington Road / Route 19 in Washington; proceeded to the Cemetery of the Alleghenies near Cecil, where thanks were offered to the fallen military personnel and prayers extended to their families; and concluded at The Bible Chapel in McMurray, where lunch and music were provided.
A police escort was provided by both the North Strabane and South Strabane police departments.
