Not many of us get the opportunity to travel to Africa. However, Walter Patton (a long-time member and semi-official chaplain of the RMLG), has made several mission trips to East Africa, specifically Uganda, over the last ten years.
At the July meeting of the Retired Men’s Luncheon Group of Pleasant Hills, Walter will describe for us what he has seen and learned of the country on his mission trips.
The meeting will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 18 in the Fellowship Hall of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, located at the corner of Old Clairton Road and Audrey Drive in Pleasant Hills. Cost for the lunch is only $6.
For additional information, or to indicate your intention to attend, call the office of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church at 412-655-2000. Please call by Friday, July 12 to be included in the lunch order.
