The Canonsburg "Parade of Chairs" Contest will be held on Wednesday, July 3 with judging starting at 5:00 p.m. There will be two cash prizes: Most Patriotic and Most Original.
Please do not place your chairs out until Tuesday, July 2. Chairs must be labeled with entrant’s name and evening phone number. If we can’t reach you, you can’t win. Please refrain from using chains, barrier tape, rope, duct tape, bicycle chains/locks, etc. on your chairs. Be a thoughtful citizen when placing your parade chairs. Keep pedestrian and handicap right-of-ways open. Do not impede foot traffic to and from our local merchants. Make your design weather-proof, in case of inclement weather.
