Dr. Gary Cartwright, an orthodontist with offices in McMurray & Bethel Park, recently awarded four $500 scholarships to four high school seniors; two girls and two boys.

Every year he conducts an essay contest for all past and present patients who are furthering their education. The topic was “What would you like to study after high school and why?” Winners this year were:
• Carlie Oros of Washington, daughter of Bruce and Linda Oros. Carlie will be attending Robert Morris University to study nursing
• Hallie Szymanski of Finleyville, daughter of Frank and Rachael Szymanski. Hallie will be attending Duquesne University to study nursing
• Henry Potosnak of Eighty Four, son of Richard and Amy Potosnak. Henry will be attending The University of Pittsburgh to study finance and business information systems.
• Cameron Lang of Bethel Park, son of Craig and Tracey Lang. Cameron will be attending Ohio University to study business management and sports.
