Croatian Picnic Planned

A Croatian Take-out Picnic fundraiser will be held at the Monessen Heritage Museum on Saturday, June 8 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm to benefit the Greater Monessen Historical Society.
 
Tickets will be $10.00 each and include a beverage, sandwich (hot dogs or kielbasa), sauerkraut, Croatian chili and dessert (a piece of apple or cheese strudel or small bag of cookies).

The Croatian Exhibit will be on display through the month of June. Museum hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Evening hours by appointment.

The summer exhibit will focus on the Monessen City School District. Anyone having items or photographs showcasing either the public or parochial schools of the city are asked to loan or donate them to the Heritage Museum. Topics covered will include: teachers, graduations, plays, students, playgrounds, school buildings, clubs, etc.

Please remember to keep your membership current. A yearly membership is $15 for an individual, $20 for a family and $50 for a business.
