Downtown West Newton is planning a Car Cruise for Saturday, July 27 at Vine Street Park from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Trucks and motorcyclists are welcome to participate in the cruise, rain or shine.
Downtown West Newton is planning a Car Cruise for Saturday, July 27 at Vine Street Park from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Trucks and motorcyclists are welcome to participate in the cruise, rain or shine.
Dash plaques will be given to the first fifty cruisers. Music games and refreshment will be offered. The general public is being encouraged to participate in the event and show your support of the hard work and dedication that the car owners put into their vehicles just to preserve a little of the American history.
Following the car cruise there will be a summer picnic fundraiser that will be held at Gary's Chuckwagon. There will be plenty of seating both inside and outside. Tickets for the event may be purchased at the Chuckwagon in advance for $10 or $12 at the door. Tickets for the picnic will also be available at the refreshment stand at the car cruise. Our car cruisers will be given a $2 discount if they would like to attend the picnic. So don't miss out on this fabulous Bar-BQ that will be just like an old fashion family get together. Food is being sponsored and prepared by Gary Johnson the owner of Gary’s Chuck Wagon.
