Domestic violence is the single major cause of injury to women. Many women face domestic violence issues every day, and they don't have to do it alone. There is help available.

Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA can provide safe shelter and confidential support services for women and their children who are victims of domestic violence. Our individual empowerment counseling provides one-on-one counseling, information and referrals, and advocacy (general & legal). All services are free and confidential. For more information, call 724-223-9190 or 1-800-791-4000 in Washington County, 724-852-2463 in Greene County, or 724-439-9500 in Fayette County.

Domestic violence does not discriminate. In addition to married couples and dating partners, domestic violence occurs between blood relatives. DVSSP provides training for health care providers on recognizing signs of elder abuse in your patients. For more information, please call our Education and Training Department at 724-223-5477 in Washington County, 724-852-2373 in Greene County, or 724-437-2530 in Fayette County.
