The Friends of South Park Township Library will once again host its Annual Spring Book Sale. Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 18, Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20.
Remember as you enjoy your wintertime reading to keep “Friends” in mind. Your donations are appreciated for this upcoming sale. Items needed are books (hardback, paperback, fiction, non-fiction, children, adult, school, educational, coffee table), old records, albums, books on tape, audio music tapes, CDs, DVDs, videotapes, video games, computer and electronic games and programs, games, puzzles, toys and stuffed animals. Games, puzzles and toys should contain all parts and pieces and placed in taped-shut boxes.
Friends do not accept small Reader’s Digests, National Geographics, jewelry, or flea market/garage sale items. Computer books, programs, discs, business or tax publications, manuals and directories should be no older than one year. These items can be recycled from home on recyclable days or dropped off at a local recyclable bin. Encyclopedia sets, no matter what the age, are no longer accepted.
Watch for upcoming Union-Finley Messenger issues for further details on the spring sale and date you may begin bringing your donated items to the South Park Library. Until this time, please keep all items in a clean, dry area. Friends appreciate everything to be in good, clean, saleable condition, free of dirt, dust, and mold. All proceeds for the Friends book sale benefit the South Park Township Library.
