Treat yourself to a delicious homemade dessert! Bethesda United Presbyterian Church, located at 314 Third Street, Elizabeth Boro (just off the Rt. 51 North ramp, across from Dollar General), is hosting their annual Apple Dumpling Sale. These mouthwatering apple dumplings are available for just $5 each. Orders must be placed by Sunday, March 30, and can be picked up on Saturday, April 5, between 12 noon and 2:00 p.m.

You have the option to order them either “baked” and ready to enjoy or “unbaked” and frozen, so you can pop them in the oven whenever you're ready. The unbaked apple dumplings will be frozen upon pickup.  To reserve yours, call 412-384-8473 and leave your name, phone number, type (baked or frozen), and quantity of apple dumplings you'd like. If you reach voicemail, you will get a confirmation call to ensure your order is set.

You can also drop off your order at the church (use the white mailbox on the porch if no one is there) or mail it in. Payment can be made in advance by check (payable to Bethesda Board of Deacons) or when you pick up your order. “There is a limited quantity of apple dumplings available so please order early,” advises Linda DeFillippo of Bethesda Church.
