West Jefferson Hills Historical Society August Program
Looking for an evening of historical fun and frivolity? The West Jefferson Hills Historical Society August program, ‘Music through the Decades’ performed by the ‘Ukeaholics’ certainly promises to fit the bill with its entertaining jaunt through musical history.
This musical group formed in January 2016 when Peggy Krall sought others who shared her newfound passion—playing the ukulele. Placing an announcement in the Pleasant Hills Library newsletter led other ukulele enthusiasts to join the group. The Ukeaholics play a variety of music, including vintage songs from various eras. Many of these will be performed for community and society members in attendance at the WJHHS free program at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28 in the Community Rooms of the Jefferson Hills Borough Building. Attendees are encouraged to sing along with the familiar songs the Ukeaholics will play or to just sit back and enjoy the vibe.
