The Friends of South Park Library just completed a banner year with their fundraising efforts.

And on September 14, 2023, Cathie Humphreys, Co-President of the Friends, presented Mrs. Amanda DeKnight, Library Director a check for $12,500. Thanks to many "FRIENDS" and supporters this past fiscal year was so successful.
Each year, the "FRIENDS" have 2 book sales, fitness classes and of course their membership in this group to earn monies. This past year they added selling of Walt Disney framed Lithographs for sale, which they have displayed in library lobby, fireplace and children's area. Their Lithos display will be at their next book sale in October also. Many of their supporters are not only South Park residents , but from many surrounding communities.
The "FRIENDS" will be celebrating their 49th year in October while hoping to have another banner year in fundraising. They are also hoping more people will join the "FRIENDS" this year, including businesses, as members.
