Thomas Presbyterian Church would like to thank all that attended and participated in our Car Show and Pig Roast that was held on August 19. This year’s event was the most successful one we have had so far. Because of your support, we were able to raise $7,000 for Life Changing Service Dogs for Veterans. This Pittsburgh based organization matches up military veterans living with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, seizure disorders, insulin dependence, and/or mobility issues with trained service dogs. The bond that these service dogs make with these veterans is more than life-changing, they are lifesaving.
In addition, we would like to thank Kilkeary Auto Body, Celtic Wealth Management, Jimmy John’s of Wexford, Greenpoint Metals, Ansol Inc., and Surplus Metals for supporting our event. We plan to make next year’s event on August 17, 2024 even better!
