August 1 Date Set For Mon Valley ‘National Night Out’ and Rostraver Township 250th Anniversary

Wednesday, August 1, 2023 will be a fun-filled evening in Rostraver Township you won’t want to miss. All are invited to participate, by visiting the John DiVirgilio Sports Complex off Recreation Drive for two exciting events that evening.
The Mon Valley ‘National Night Out’ will take place from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. This event will focus on children coming to meet our local Police Officers, Firefighter, and EMTs from all over the Mon Valley. In addition, local businesses and organizations will be present to share information about our Mon Valley Community. During the event there will be raffle baskets, kids prizes and activities, and a 50/50 raffle.
Then, at 9:00pm there will be fireworks, sponsored by Vinoski Winery, to close the Mon Valley National Night Out and kickoff the 250thanniversary celebration. From 9:00pm – 11:00pm, the festivities will focus more on adults with a live band to celebrate the 250thanniversary of Rostraver Township.
