The Belle Vernon Public Library is currently celebrating the 85th anniversary of its founding. Organized in the autumn of 1935, the library was formally incorporated in January of the following year. In anticipation of the January 13, 2022 Open House, the library has been asking longtime patrons to share their memories.

"In this day and age it's super easy," noted current director Elina Filander. "If you have an old library card, a flyer from event or even an overdue notice, you can just snap a photo or scan it and send it off to us, or drop by the library and we'll make that copy."
For more info, call the library at 724-929-6642. The library is located in North Belle Vernon at 505 Speer Street.
