Area hunters are encouraged to donate your hides to the Elks Veteran program. Your hides will be used to make leather gloves for handicapped veterans and provide tanned leather to make occupational therapy kits.

In 2019-20, there were 12 states that collected 17,234 hides and there were 3,075 veterans that received wheelchair gloves.
Hides can be dropped off at the Lodge, or call 412-831-0616 for pick up. The Pittsburgh South Hills Elks 2213 is located at 2789 South Park Rd., Bethel Park Pa. 15102.
