Memories were made when the NBV Community Bank Park’s Facebook team found an ‘egg-cellent’ way for families and kids of all ages to celebrate an Easter event without leaving home.

First Place winner: Rainbow Eggs with Smiley Faces

A colorful Easter Egg Decorating Contest was held online, and was open to all visitors of the NBV Park Facebook page. Egg decorating contestants had the opportunity to work on their creations until April 8 when they had to post photos of their creations to the Facebook page where people were able to view the entries and comment and vote. Entries that generated the most “Likes” were declared the winners. The top 4 winners each received $25.

“This contest was a great activity to distract everyone from what is going on right now,“ said Cody Ambrose, NBV Recreation Commission member and contest leader.
