On Saturday, Feb. 15, The Magic Yarn Project held a vendor/craft show at the Monessen Fire Dept. #1 Social Hall, to celebrate Valentine’s Day.The event featured over 50 vendors, a Chinese auction, a 50/50 raffle, music provided by DJ Jammin’ Jodi, and a food truck that prepared a special menu.

Jessica Ash, Sponsor of the Valentine’s Vendor Show, is PA Chapter Leader of The Magic Yarn Project

The Magic Yarn Project helps children all year long by providing ‘Disney Princess’ and ‘Super Hero’ wigs free of charge to children with cancer.

“I love that we are giving back to the families and children at the most difficult time in their lives, and to see their smile makes it all worth it!,” said Jessica Ash, PA Chapter Leader for the Magic Yarn Project. “Sometimes when the kids receive their wigs, that is the FIRST time that child has smiled since being diagnosed, and that is priceless!”

Attendees to the event had an enjoyable time, and the proceeds went to a worthy cause.
