Finleyville Mayor Thankful For Another Great Fireman’s Fair

Dear Editor;

Firemen and firewomen, first responders, attendees and everyone who helped to make the 2019 Fireman’s Fair an outstanding event deserve a noteworthy thank you from all of us.

Who can forget Wednesday’s parade with all the fire trucks and the fantastic marching units! Then there are the carnival’s rides, games, music, food and the spectacular Friday’s fireworks display. This year’s annual fair was made possible by dedicated volunteers who planned for months, set up the stands, cooked the food, bought the prizes, worked the games, sold tickets, organized the fireworks and then dismantled the stands. You gave us a week to remember. We can’t wait for next year’s fair.
