The Belle Vernon Rotary and Rostraver Township will each be holding Electronic Recycling events during the month of September.  

Upcoming Electronics Recycling in Belle Vernon and Rostraver

Each event will be accepting various electronics as noted below, and certain restrictions apply. Please make a note of the specific details and instructions outlined below, and contact the appropriate phone number or website listed for additional information.

Belle Vernon Rotary Electronics Collection

DATE: Saturday, September 7, 2019

TIME: 8:00 a.m. — 12:00 Noon

LOCATION: Brunswick Zone Belle Vernon Lanes, Parking Lot. 4742 PA Route 51 South, Belle Vernon, PA 15012

Sponsored by the Belle Vernon Rotary. Event is open to Individuals only. Residents from all communities are welcome. ALL ELECTRONICS (anything with a cord) will be accepted at no charge. Entire TV’s—all types (tubes, flat screens, console, rear projector) (NO GLASS TUBES REMOVED FROM CABINET WILL BE ACCEPTED).

Other items that can be dropped off inclide: CPUs/Towers, Laptops, Computer monitors—CRT and flat screen, Peripherals (mice. keyboards, speakers), Printers, Copiers (desktop and stand-alone), Answering Machines, Camcorders, Cameras, Electric typewriters, Radios/walkie talkies, Stereos/tape/CD players, VCR/DVD players, Testing equipment, Fax/copy machines/duplicators Gaming consoles/controllers, Telephone systems, Cell phones, Docking Stations, Pagers, Remote Controls, Microwaves, Electrical Cords, Christmas lights, Video games/cartridges

Rostraver Township Electronic Recycling Drop Off Days

Each household in Rostraver Township will be allowed to drop off up to three (3) electronic items on one of the dates listed below:

• Friday, September 20, 2019 between 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Saturday, September 21, 2019 between 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Rostraver Township Road Department Building

129 Recreation Drive

Rostraver Township, PA 15012

Township Employees will be on site to help unload. A photo ID must be provided for proof of Township residency.

Items that can be dropped off include: any size TV, microwaves, printers, electric typewriters, copiers (desktop and standalone), fax/copy machines/duplicators, CPUs/towers, laptops, computer monitors-CRT & LED/LCD, peripherals (mice, keyboards, speakers) *A computer with monitor-tower-keyboard-mouse-speakers may be combined to equal one item. Household hazardous waste will NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Reminder: This program will continue on an annual basis. The Rostraver Township website www.rostraver.us will keep you up to date.
