Pre-registration Required by July 10

The Annual Youth Day Event will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club, located at 412 Coal Valley Road, Clairton, PA. Pre-registration is required by July 10, 2019.

On the day of the event check-in is from 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM and the program is from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. The event is FREE and the program is designed for youths (girls and boys) ages 9-15. A parent or guardian must accompany each youth.

The program consists of structured activities with the youths walking in groups from station-to-station to learn about firearm safety, firearm education, hunting, conservation, and experience first-hand, under the direct supervision of qualified instructors, the following sports: archery, .22 rifle shooting, muzzleloader, shotgun-trap & skeet shooting. Safety is our number one priority.

Lunch is provided. During lunch, youths and their family members can observe the following: The Pittsburgh Port Authority Police and their K-9 Unit who educate the audience about K-9 training, provide a live demo, and encourage participation in a Q& A session, Pennsylvania Game Commission, visit with local police and paramedics, and meet local politicians, and much, much more. As a remembrance of the event, youths will receive a free gift bag.
