The Rostraver Historical Society met for their monthly meeting at Old Fells Church on Tuesday, November 13. Featured speaker was retired superintendent of the Belle Vernon Area School District Steve Russell who spoke of the school district’s history.

The second topic included a review of the occasions John F. Kennedy visited the area including his Twin Coaches appearance on October 9, 1959 and Monessen speech on October 13, 1962.
