The Peters Creek Historical Society will host their annual "Soup and Stroll" holiday open house on Sunday, December 9, from 12:00 noon to 4:30 pm at the Enoch Wright House, 815 Venetia Road, Venetia.

The event features a warm welcome to living history, self guided tours to visit Father Christmas, the mining room, the newly refurbished bedroom in a clothing exhibit and a savory lunch of homemade soup, dessert, artisan bread and beverage seated amid 19th Century Christmas ambiance. Guests are invited to stroll up to the 18th Century log cabin to take a peek at pioneer living. Tickets are available at the door: $8-Adults; $5-children 9 and under.
