The Southwestern Pennsylvania Registered Nurses Club will hold their 26th Veterans' Day Memorial Service at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 12, 2018.

The service will be held at the South Park nursing war memorials located on Corrigan Drive. The service will be dedicated to Mary Ann Rosko a club member who died in 2017 and served in the US Army Nurses Corps. Rosko was diligent in having the monuments and the area repaired and improved for safety throughout the City Parks. All military nurses will be remembered with a floral wreath placed at the nursing monuments.

The program will include Bethel Park Mayor, Jack Allen; Rabbi Mendel Rosenblum, Chabad of South Hills and bagpiper Douglas Greer. Other dignitaries expected to attend are Clarence Hopson, Deputy Director of Recreation, City Parks and Sue Means, RN of Allegheny County Council. A gun salute will be given by the South Park VFW 6664 with Commander Christopher Brown. The public is welcome.
