The Rostraver Woman’s Club met on September 12, 2018 at Fells United Methodist Church. New club President, Beata Herald conducted her first official meeting. Beata brings a new vision to the club filled with lots of fun outside our regular meetings.

Some members planned to participate in the Fourth Annual Belle Vernon Middle School 5k Color Run on September 29, 2018. Members also donated food to the local food bank. We collected over 50 items and monetary donations.

Denise Tovlin was welcomed as a new member to the Rostraver Woman’s Club. She comes with many new ideas and knowledge.

The Annual Quilt Auction had to be cancelled due to the recent fire at Gilmore Auction. The quilt was destroyed in the fire. Therefore, if anyone would like to donate a quilt for this year’s auction it would be greatly appreciated. The Quilt Auction helps raise funds for community events such as the Belle Vernon Area Senior Girls Tea that is held every year.

Follow the Rostraver Woman’s Club on Facebook and if you would like to join this dynamic group of women call Beata at 724-379-8284.
