Mark your calendars for Monongahela Valley Hospital’s HealthPlex Health Fair on Saturday, August 18, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The fair will be held in Monongahela Valley Hospital’s HealthPlex featuring MVH-affiliated providers such as the Center for Fitness and Health, HealthPlex Imaging, The Orthopedic Group, Mon-Vale Primary Care Practices, Occupational Medicine and many others.
“This Health Fair is a great way for the residents of the mid-Monongahela Valley tolearn more about their own health, said Louis J. Panza Jr., president and CEO of Monongahela Valley Hospital. “This is just another way we are firmly committed to meeting the health care needs of our community.”
The Health Fair will provide various free screenings, educational talks from MVH physicians, a healthy cooking class and fitness demonstrations. A multiphasic blood screening will also be offered for a $30 fee.
Some of the many screenings to be offered include:
Breast cancer, Bone density, Blood pressure, Diabetic eye exams, Foot, Hip and knee.
