The Toast To Our Stars Club of North Charleroi recently hosted its 68th Annual Achievement Awards Banquet on Sunday, April 29th at the Charleroi Elks.

The annual event recognizes and promotes the participation, achievements and success of high school students from the community in academics, athletics and the arts.
This year’s featured guest speaker was Monessen native and Belle Vernon resident Melanie Monaghan Bradburn, known professionally as Melanie Taylor, co-host of the 100.7 Star “Bubba Show.” Ms. Taylor has worked in the Pittsburgh radio and television market for 20 years as an on-air personality at Star 100.7, B-94 93.7 FM and WESA 98.3 FM as well as a traffic reporter for WTAE-TV morning news.
