A Night at the Races

On Saturday, August 14, 2018, the Stephen P. Barry Assembly #940, Fourth Degree, Knights of Columbus, is hosting a "Night at the Races" at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Eden Park Blvd., across from the McKeesport High School. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the Races start at 7 p.m.

Come and enjoy a great time of horse racing fun and excitement. We have 10 amazing races for your chance to win cash! And, of course, there will be the ever-popular “auction race.” All races are shown on a large screen! You will feel like you are at the track, cheering your horse on to the winner's circle!

You can bet on your favorite horse and win cash or – even better – be the owner of the horse (or a stable of horses) at only $5 per horse, and you get to name your steed! Enjoy the thrill (and $25) when your horse wins the race!

BYOB! Light buffet and setups are included in the ticket price. Tickets are $10 per person in advance or $15 at door. You must be at least 21 years of age.

To purchase tickets or horses, call Race Chairman David Palcsey at 412-672-6222 or mail your check made payable to "Stephen P. Barry Assembly 940" to Stephen P. Barry Assembly, C / O David Palcsey 422 26th Street, McKeesport, PA 15132. If mailing, please include a self-addressed envelope. If you need eight or more tickets, please call to reserve your own table.

This event benefits the Stephen P. Barry Assembly, Knights of Columbus, and helps enable the charitable donations and work of the Assembly.
