VFW Post 914 of West Mifllin recently announced the receipt of awards.

Post 914 streamer awarded for 100% membership

The new ribbon joins nearly a dozen others on the West Mifflin post’s colors.

Photo below right: – United States Marine and West Mifflin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 914 Intrepid Life Member Earl Birdy proudly displays a challenge coin awarded to him by members of the West Mifflin Air Force JROTC during the 14th annual Military Ball Banquet at the Westwood Golf Club April 13. Birdy, who served with the First Division, Sixth Marines, based in Tianjin, China during World War II, received the award for his decades of service as an educator with local youth developmental activities and sports.
