The Monongahela Area Historical Society will host their monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on May 24, 2018 in the parlor room of the 1st Presbyterian Church, 609 Chess Street, Monongahela.

The brief members-only business meeting at 6:30 p.m. will precede the historical presentation, titled “Mystical Inca Ruins of Peru” by MAHS member Len Marracini. For more information, visit our website at http://monongahelahistoricalsociety.com or find us on Facebook.

Additionally, a self-guided walking tour of Monongahela’s Historic District is available at your leisure. Stop by the museum and pick up a brochure from the box on the outside of the front door. There are 22 historic locations to visit along the way. Brochures are also available at CJ's Furniture. Smartphone technology incorporated into the tour includes video and narration for each location. All you need is your smartphone.
