Local Girl Scouts Make Blizzard Bags for the Elderly

Last month, local Girl Scout troop 16496 collected, decorated and packaged 72 blizzard bags for the elderly.

The bags, along with hand-decorated placemats, were donated to Meals on Wheels. The bags were disbursed to those in need most in Finleyville, Monongahela, Peters Township, and surrounding areas.
