Our Lady of Grace Church, Scott Township, is seeking artists in Western Pennsylvania and surrounding areas to participate in an exhibition of their work(s) in the 2018 Pentecost Sacred Arts Festival, May 16-20.

This juried exhibit will showcase and foster appreciation of sacred artistic expression – by the artists moved by the Spirit and by the faithful who view these works during the festival. Artworks submitted for exhibition arerequired to be in the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Linus Meldrum, MFA, Assistant Professor of Fine Arts at Franciscan University of Steubenville, is juror for this year’s exhibition.Professor Meldrum brings a wealth of expertise and talent as a professional educator, scholarly writer and accomplished artist exhibiting in over 400 regional, national and international exhibitions and festivals. Meldrum, who serves as visual art consultant to the Foundation of Sacred Art, will frame this year’s festival with a lead talk titled, “Sacred Art: Bread and Body.”
Total cash prizes of $1,200 will be awarded. Deadline for entries is Friday, March 23, 2018.
