Step back in time and enjoy Christmas as it was in the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s for a retro Christmas Pajama Party to benefit Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Christmas Pajama Party |
This event will take place at The Good Ol’ Days Nostalgic Vacation House, 914 Broad Avenue in North Belle Vernon on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from noon – 8 p.m. Christmas cookies, holiday dips and chips, and punch will be served.
Admission: New pajamas for victims of domestic violence and their children. Sleepwear suggestions are: Lounging pants (especially sizes large – 2x) Sleep shirts, and t-shirts, children’s pajamas (up to size 12), and socks. More than a million women and children are victims of domestic abuse in the US and almost all who seek refuge arrive with just the clothes on their backs.
“In the spirit of an old-fashioned Christmas of giving and helping those in need at this time of year,” said owner of The Good OL’ Days Nostalgic Guest House Melanie Patterson, “this Christmas Pajama Party, along with your donations, will make this Christmas a little brighter for local women and children in our area.”
All are welcome; please plan to attend and bring a friend.
