Operation Troop Appreciation is holding their annual gently used costume jewelry sale on Friday November 10 from 1 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 11, Veterans Day, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The South Park Community Center is located at 2675 Brownsville Road, South Park, has ample parking, and is handicapped-accessible.
Although most of our jewelry is gently used, many of our generous contributors donate NEW jewelry with price tags still attached! All of our prices are $1 to $5 per item! Nothing is higher than $5. Beautiful Christmas ornaments will be available for $5 each. We also will have a patriotic raffle with unbelievable prizes!
More than 10,000 pieces of jewelry to delight every taste will be for sale, including vintage pins, necklaces, bracelets, pins, earrings (pierced, clip and screw), sweater clips, hundreds of rings, holiday, jewelry boxes, scarf clips, travel jewelry boxes and much more!
Every dollar is used to support the military. Operation Troop Appreciation ships 25 to 50 70-pound packages about every 3 weeks to our deployed military. We also have a ‘welcome home’ program to help those veterans who have returned home and need assistance.
Every person working at Operation Troop Appreciation VOLUNTEERS their time and energy. Operation Troop Appreciation has been operating for 13 years and is a Pittsburgh-based charity.
